This course will give learners knowledge and experience in the fundamentals of plant biology from the cell to the whole organism exploring evolution, development, reproduction, and physiological process.
It will provide a mechanistic understanding of plant distribution, adaption, stress responses, and survival in a changing climate. The course focuses on understanding these processes through the lens of a changing environment exploring a plant's role in mitigating changing climate, impacts of climate change on plant biology and growth, and implications of this in terms of other global sustainability issues such as biodiversity conservation and food security.
