The Job:
We currently have an opportunity for someone hard working, enthusiastic and keen to learn to join our family team at Dalchirla Farms, Perthshire. This role would suit someone at the start of their career, who has experience with stock, with a keen interest in day-to-day care, to ensure stock meet their full potential. Some occasional tractor work will be necessary. There will also be an opportunity to learn and assist with all relevant livestock paperwork.

The Company:
Dalchirla Farms are in Perthshire, with the main unit just south of Perth, near Bridge of Earn. A herd of 130 commercial suckler cows, 1300 Scottish Blackface ewes and 400 Texel ewes are run across 2 upland units. All stock is either sold for breeding, with around 140 tups sold annually, or taken through to finish. Our aim is always to produce top quality stock, meaning attention to detail is key and the opportunity to get stuck in and learn about turning out stock is huge.
The Candidate:
This role would suit someone at the start of their career, who has experience with stock and with a keen interest in day-to-day care, to ensure stock meet their full potential. Some occasional tractor work will be necessary. There will also be an opportunity to learn and assist with all relevant livestock paperwork.
The Package:
Rate of pay will be determined by experience and ability and will increase as responsibilities are increased. There is accommodation available locally, if necessary.
