Aberdeen is a compact city. There’s a great city bus service, as well as SRUC buses from the centre/accommodation to campus. Trains and the nearby airport make for great connections to and fro.

Aberdeen boasts multiple theatres and cinemas, music venues for small to major bands, and across the road from the campus, the fantastic P&J Live events arena.
Weather
Temperatures range from around 0 degrees in the winter to upwards of 15 degrees in the summer. While winter days are shorter with a chance of some snow, summer days are much longer with clearer skies.
Student accommodation
SRUC has an agreement with the University of Aberdeen to use accommodation in the Hillhead Student village in the city centre. There are also private rental and flatshare opportunities.
