If I am staying in campus accommodation, will I need to change my GP?

Students can register with the GP local to their campus. By doing this, you can then access health and well-being support locally whilst you are studying. Support staff can give you information on your local surgeries and how to register.

Is there somewhere to keep my valuables safe whilst I am in class or completing practical work?

Yes, you can speak to your Year Tutor regarding a locker.

Are there gender-neutral toilets?

Yes, we have toilets that are marked as accessible, these are single-use toilets and can be used by any student.

Is there somewhere I can go if I need a quiet space?

Yes, we have a quiet room that is accessible to students who need a quiet space. 

This room has useful information, leaflets and time out activities that students have said they find helpful when needing to take a break.

Can I come and visit the campus before I start? I would like to meet staff and see where I will be studying.

Yes, contact pastoral support to arrange this. This is something that students in the past have found helpful as it enables you to become familiar with the layout of the building and meet key contacts within Student Support prior to the start of term.

You might also like to attend our open days, which also give you the opportunity to chat to tutors beforehand.

Is there somewhere I can store medication?

Yes, we have a locked storage area and fridge for medication. Contact pastoral support to discuss.
