SRUC will be showcasing its new School of Veterinary Medicine at the upcoming London Vet Show, one of the biggest of its kind in the UK, this month.
Key posts filled for SRUC Vet School
Ten posts - including Director of Veterinary Partnerships, Head of Interprofessional Education, Veterinary Programme Director, Veterinary Lecturers and Veterinary Senior Lecturers, have been filled in preparation for the roll out of the curriculum at SRUC's new School of Veterinary Medicine.
Scotland set for first new vet school in 150 years
Scotland could be home to a new school of veterinary medicine for the first time in more than 150 years.

Taught Degree Awarding Powers were conferred by the Privy Council and approved by the Scottish Parliament on 14 October 2024, and the first cohort of vet students started their studies at the new School of Veterinary Medicine the same day.
Our BVSci veterinary medicine training programme is the first degree that will be entirely delivered and awarded by SRUC, and applications for 2025 entry remain open in UCAS.
Applications submitted to UCAS prior to 15 October are currently being processed.
