I joined SAC as a Food and Enterprise consultant in October 2023. My role revolves around the delivery of projects that enhance food systems sustainability in Scotland, spanning the entire value chain. My expertise lies in understanding the environmental limits of economic decision-making that influences the way we produce and consume food. My project work involves mapping and understanding supply chains, as well as delivering bespoke consultancy services to food and drink businesses who are setting net zero targets and looking to make their businesses nature positive. I have worked on opportunity assessments for policy engagement, assessing blended finance approaches for nature restoration, and worked on integrating community wellbeing into economic evaluations to ensure distributional justice during land reform.

I recently completed my MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh, where I advanced my ability to conduct quantitative economic appraisal techniques and employ qualitative research methods. Previously, I worked as a front of house and logistics and distribution manager at a large bakery in Berlin, where I developed acumen in customer service, organisational operations, and project management.

My personal interests lie in cultivating community through food and cooking, understanding rural and urban dynamics of production systems, and building up degrowth strategies that allow for human-nature flourishing. In my free time I enjoy spending time with the people I love, exploring new places and doing any kind of outdoor activity.
