I work as an Agricultural Consultant within the Perth office. In this role I have responsibility for around 105 clients around Perthshire with the bulk of my clients being in Highland Perthshire. My client base covers a wide range of farm types and I support these businesses with work in relation to compliance such as completing Nitrate Vulnerable Zone plans or SAF form as well as getting out and about soil and silage sampling. Other work carried out on a one-to-one basis with farming businesses is completing business reviews, carbon audits and labour justification reports. Prior to joining SAC Consulting, I gained a BSc Hons degree in Agricultural Science. I have a particular interest in Employment Legislation and helping farming businesses with the steps they need to complete to employ a worker.

In addition to my work with Perthshire farming businesses, I manage the Natural Capital Topic within the Farm Advisory Service programme. In this role I oversee projects which help farmers and land managers understand and tackle the twin challenges of climate change and biodiversity and ensure that the topics covered continue to meet the needs of the audience.

I have extensive experience in meeting facilitation co-ordinating a roadshow of eight meetings on the legislative requirements relating to Employing People, running the Perth Women in Agriculture group and most recently a FAS Connect group on sheep.

Outside of work, I am heavily involved in the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs (SAYFC) currently serving as Chair of my local club, Bankfoot JAC and on a National Level, serving as International Travel Chair and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team of SAYFC.
