Kostas Sideris

I began my career with hands-on internships in forest management and reforestation, which paved the way for a variety of roles in GIS and environmental data management. I also completed a Bachelors Honors degree in Forestry and a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering.

My expertise in geographic information systems (GIS) is extensive, encompassing tools like ArcGIS, QGIS, GRASS GIS, and SAGA GIS. I also work with Python, SQL, and FME Software.

As a Geospatial Consultant for SAC Consulting, I work in a variety of projects including environmental and biodiversity spatial mapping, LiDAR processing and others.

I am a member of the Association of Geographic Information and the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. In my spare time I enjoy playing video games, participating in Dungeons & Dragons sessions and reading Sci-fi literature and graphic novels.
