After obtaining a PhD in Nematology from a prestigious University of Agriculture in Nigeria, I lectured briefly at the University before moving to South Africa for my Post-doctoral research in 2016. I later joined Cape Peninsula University of Technology as a Postdoctoral Researcher where I engaged in research activities on Pest Management and Sustainable Agriculture. I participated in a Blueberry project that was funded by the South Africa Water Research Council (SAMRC), I also taught some postgraduate courses in the Department of Agriculture. Towards further development of my career, I relocated to the United Kingdom and before joining SRUC, I was privileged to be endorsed by the Royal Society as a Global Talent under the Exceptional Promise category and I have been involved in Nematology research at Harper Adams University, United Kingdom.
