Fergus Russell

I am a Chartered Surveyor and Senior Agricultural Consultant in the Forfar office covering Aberdeenshire, Angus and Fife. I provide a consultancy service to a range of clients on agricultural policy, subsidy claims, carbon auditing, strategic business management, succession planning and contract farming agreements.

I provide professional representation to landowners across Scotland in respect of Third Party access for a range of utility projects, including overhead powerlines, belowground power cables, water and gas pipelines. I have represented landowners against all major utility companies operating in Scotland and northern England, as well as some of the UK’s largest renewable energy developers.

Prior to joining SAC Consulting, I spent five years working as a rural Surveyor for Carter Jonas LLP in Cumbria servicing a range of private farm and estate clients before holding estate management roles in Cumbria and Fife for six years.

Away from work I enjoy exploring the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and attempting to keep fit!
