Hi, I am Davina Johnston and I work out of the Kirkwall SAC office. A large proportion of my work is to assist Highland Park to dispose of their waste pot ale. I ensure all paperwork, soil analysis and SEPA’s requirements are kept up to date. Along with tracking where, and how much pot ale is being spread and where.
- Annually I complete around 100 IACS forms on behalf of clients across Orkney.
- I prepare and submit proposals to compete for the grant funding opportunities.
- I test clients’ soil and silage, reporting back with recommendations and rations.
- I enjoy looking at individual farms, finding ways to improve the business’ performance.
- I am FACT, FAR and AMTRA qualified.
