Hi I'm
Amanda Watson
- Position: Teaching Instructor
- Location: Craibstone Campus
-
Expertise:
- Animal Care
- Veterinary Medicine
I am a teaching instructor with SRUC working within the animal care unit. I am lucky enough to work daily with the amazing animals in our care and introduce the students to working with them too. I previously studied at the college and then went on to achieve my BSc in animal care at the university of Aberdeen. After graduating I worked in various animal professions to gain experience before achieving one of my goals of working with the Scottish SPCA. I started as an animal rescue officer and worked my way up to working as a cruelty inspector. After many years with the Scottish SPCA I felt a change was needed and was delighted to join SRUC and help them to encourage great animal welfare standards for the future.
