Hi I'm
Adam Masri
- Position: Veterinary Lecturer
- Location: Craibstone Campus
-
Expertise:
- Animal Care
I qualified from University College Dublin in 2009 and have practised in Ireland, the United Arab Emirates & the U.K.
While working in small animal general practice in Buckinghamshire, I completed my post graduate certificate in small animal medicine with Harper Adams University in January 2016.
A blossoming romance with an Aberdonian lass lead me up to bonnie Scotland soon after. It was here while mentoring and coaching junior colleagues that I developed an enthusiasm for education. In between work and changing nappies, I found the time to obtain a post graduate certificate in medical education from the University of Dundee in October 2021.
The prospect of being part of this exciting new school of veterinary medicine here at SRUC was too wonderful an opportunity to let pass me by so I decided to take my first steps into the ever-advancing world of veterinary education in the spring of 2023. I look forward to the exciting journey ahead and hope to use my own wealth of clinical experience to help our students transition into becoming the resilient and competent veterinary surgeons of the future.
