Interpretation of MV/CAE Individual ID VET ELISA
S/P </= 50% - Negative
S/P 51-59% - Inconclusive
S/P >/=60% - Positive
The test sensitivity is 98.4% and specificity is 99.3%

Animals testing inconclusively should be retested a minimum of three weeks after the first sample was taken to confirm if they are infected. Few samples will be false positives however if a positive result is unexpected you may also wish to retest the animal to confirm it is infected a minimum of three weeks after the first sample was taken.
