SRUC

This National Progression Award will provide an insight into how your food is produced as well as the opportunity to contrast local and global food markets by exploring sustainable food production, primary food production, and how to make an entry into the food market. 

Who the course is for:
This course is for S5 and S6 students wanting to work in or study food technology or food production or have a passion for food integrity and provenance. Students must be working (or expected to be working) at SCQF Level 6.

Duration:
This course is runs for one year.

Delivery:
This course will be delivered remotely using online classrooms and assessment. Support will be provided by lecturers from our academic staff. The delivery system of this course provides an opportunity for wider skills development and our delivery model can allow flexible options for practical work. 

Qualification:
Students completing this course will be awarded an SCA accredited National Progression Award (NPA) in Local Food Production at SCQF Level 6.
